No, I hate how you can hear people chewing and eating and rustling packets of things. I like the sweets you can buy at the cinema though.

I like it, except for everything being too expensive. But I do intend to see the Simpsons Movie when it comes out.

A cinema is better than a theater because you can buy one ticket and watch the movie then process to watch several different movies and no one would notice. Once I watched 5 movies in a day at a cinema 8)

I like it sometimes, but when its packed it really bothers me, and I hate the feeling I get when the room gets very dark, and then right after when they turn on the lights and we walk out of the dark room, ahh it gives me the worst headaches.

I'm not a huge fan of either, but if I had to
choose, definitely a play. There's some interaction
with the story itself.

I like going to the movies and seeing plays, but the only drawback is when I go alone, there's nobody there that I can share the experience with. Plus, I have to double check that I have enough money.

I HATE THE MOVIES (the theater as well, but just because I'm not interested in theatrics and also I hate being around other people)

At the movies all I can concentrate on are other people talking, moving around, their laughs...when I was about 16 I went to a movie with my mom and the guy in front of me kept hocking up loogies and I was so disgusted and uncomfortable that I called him a cockroach when talking about him afterwards to my mom and she called me full of hate. I always end up feeling full of hate towards things that aggravate me (people close to me on public transportation, neighbors shuffling around loudly, that sort of thing). So I avoid these things by not living life. I'm alone almost always now but at least I don't feel the rage and hate I do when other people back me into a corner by being so noisy or obnoxious.

Yes, going to the movies is one of my favorite things to do. I'm not bothered by the crowd so much, but I try to go in the mornings or early afternoon when there's less people.

I love going to the movies, too. I find it peaceful and relaxing.
Admittedly its not as enjoyable if people are talking throughout. King Kong was ruined for me by some asswipe doing their own narration. Crowds aren't much fun either but during the day there is hardly anyone around. I've watched quite a few movies when I was the only person there.

I much prefer watching movies at home over going to a theater.

I like plays better sometimes because generally, even if it is crowded, the crowd is well behaved and quiet, but I like the movie theaters when there are only a few people.

I like going to both but I prefer to go with someone than going by myself. I don't get to go the cinema much because of the cost of a ticket and not having a car when I'm at college. However, I do plan on going to the cinema this summer to see some movies with my sister and friends.

i used to work at a movie theatre..it was kind of a small artsy one so that was sorta fun...but I have had panic attacks at the really big theatres with the really loud neon carpeting.

It depends on who I am with...if I am with a kindred spirit, I will have a good time.
If I am with someone I do not have alot in common with it is awful.

No...me got to sit at the back and watch everyone like a hawk; no point in going unless it's something I really really want to see, Revenge of the Sith for example.

I like going to the cinema by myself, yes. I also like to watch opera on my own as well. At those times, I don't feel alone in a crowd, which I like (being alone in a multitude of people sucks on many, many levels). Although I do get very annoyed when I can hear people rustling stuff or jabbering to their friends - I once lost my temper and swore at some people on the other side of the aisle after having to listen to their idiotic chatter for over an hour.

I felt terrible afterwards, and had to apologise to the elderly Indian gentleman sat next to me once the film had finished
