Does it matter I don't use Instagram or tiktok?

I feel like another reason that dissuades me from setting up a dating profile is because I don't have many photos of myself on an Instagram account or something. I also have little interest in taking photos of myself than I did on Facebook. I only have taken one year ago. I feel like by not having these things I still feel like I'm "missing out on life" because I don't have them and that it's "abnormal" when probably most of us around the world are on social media.

No - unless you need to stay in touch with people whom you're familiar with and only use those platforms. I personally use Facebook to stay connected with my relatives and chatrooms for faith-based communities. Chatrooms aren't really a necessity, but they're practical.

Social media does have faith-based communities, but they’re broader platforms. Chatrooms are more focused, letting me engage in faith discussions without distractions.

I don't use Instagram or TikTok either. I'm missing out on life, and I enjoy it because it reduces my exposure to harmful influences - in other words, I have JOMO, lol.

I'm pretty sure most of the world doesn't use either program, so why worry about doing something a lot of other people also do?
