Dark coffee house which has comfortable sofas and chairs and low jazz or blues playing in the background ( must serve hot tea).

The theatre ( ballet, opera, plays, burlesque show )

.It's dark

.They usually always have an intermission ( gives you a break from the action )

.The people are usually reserved

.The bathrooms are immaculate

The country or local park

.beautiful natural symmetry of the landscape

.able to view animals in their natural habitat

.can walk, wheel around to clear your mind or body from stress or

overstimulation

Fishing hole

.mostly quiet except for natural sounds

.fishing can be done for sport, but there is no pressure to perform

ie you are not pressured to catch anything.

.same reasons as the country or local park

In japan, the internet cafes now offer "isolation pods" where you can use a computer in complete solitude.

I grew up in a farming town near Seattle, and considering how difficult social interaction was for me, it was really a great place to grow up. There is a lot of the "Live, and let live" attitude in the Northwest.

It certainly isn't Houston.

ALASKA nobody cares how you dress, you can wear sweats to a 5 star restaraunt and nobody bats an eye. Everyone is very laid back, Individualism is relished, theres no humidity, its BEAUTIFUL everywhere you turn, animals in their natural habitat abound. Whales, Moose, Bears, everyone hibernates a little in the winter and summer ROCKS. It's like "Baby-Bear porriage" here. Juuuuuust right! It sounds PERFECT for you Icarus Falling :D Not to mention the Auroras .Also use of pot here is not such a huge deal as in the rest of the U.S. if thats your thing.

All depends on WHO you are. I found both Buffalo NY
and Eugene OR to be pretty good for my tastes. Though,
I've not made real friends here, I think it's because I've
taken life too seriously (for what good that does).

Sadly, tolerance and indifference are in direct relation everywhere.

I can't imagine there is any geographical location that would be an Aspie haven. Wherever we are we're different.

Frys Electronics Stores are Aspie Heaven. Unfortunately the stores are in california. But they do have a website that is cool too. http://www.frys.com/

Words can't even decribe how awesome the store is. There are about a million isles of electronics, video games, and everything you can possibly imagine. All of the people who work there wear suits. There are about 50 or so cash registers when you check out and someone tells you which one to go to.

I probably sound like an advertisement or something but I don't mean to sound llike that. It really is an awesome place. I think I've been to all of them in California Usa. Each store has a different theme too. One had a cowboy theme and another had a Pyramid theme.

Wow it was cool.

Not all aspies are geeks, though. I'm no geek, and I don't like electronics or video games.

I wish i had a clue. I live in Michigan not only is it the worst state economy i can think of. But it's also gotta be the least Nerd or Aspie friendly state i can thinik of. Seeing as I openly admit to being both I'm pretty much screwed.
