For not "commiting" enough into social interaction.
-Mostly eye contact
-Poor empathy
-Poor non-verbal skills

And for having a clear "line" between social interaction and study. (Aka being a nerd at school)

Arrogant, especially intellectual arrogance. A case in point would be the discussion that my fiancee and I had over the movie Paris, Je t'aime. She really did not like it because she could not see the point of the film and thought that it was a waste of time. I responded that it was about the different types of love that people experience and what could be a better setting than Paris, "The City of Love and Light," to see such scenarios in action?

Well, she said that she understood my point, but she wanted a concrete ending in which all of the different short stories were tied together. I countered by saying that I've learned to take artsy, European films on their outer merits and try not to get too analytical about them because one will be driven crazy trying to figure out their esoteric meanings. To make a long story short, she said I was talking down to her, being very intellectually arrogant, and making her feel stupid for the latter comment.

WTF???? How is that being intellectually arrogant? 8O

-Quiet
-"Wishy Washy"
-Unfriendly (not smiling enough, not saying "Hi. How are you?", etc)
-Awkward

I am often criticized for being far too negative.

Which sucks.

I am the ultimate fatalist. I always expect the worse. I always expect nothing to work out. I always expect my luck to run out when I need it the most. If there's a nail, I'll catch myself on it. If there's something that can go wrong, it will. It ALWAYS does.

You forgot to put "picky". I'm a perfectionist. I'm not picky about food or where I sleep or who I hang out with. I'm just picky about small things, like I'll criticize drawings and diagrams when they have geometric or visual innacuracies. People criticize me all the time for being picky like that.

People say I am ridiculous. I am not very good with people, but I can put forward a crazy social personality that allows me to get by a little. I dunno, I am not very real.

- Being weird, including forming "conspiracy theories" about the world (According to others, that is. If if doesn't involve conspiracy then it's NOT a conspiracy theory!),
- Being negative and
- Strange sleeping patterns
- Strange diet (GFCF. If I could scrap the diet I would)

Being negative, arrogant about being intellectual (not acting like I'm wicked smart, but being intolerant of people who are not), and being too obsessed with TV and not liking to go out.

If I could vote for multiple criticisms, my ultra-pessimistic attitude and not liking to go out would be numbers 2 and 3 behind arrogance.

I think most people think I am arrogant because I choose not to socially interract with them. Oh well. I don't care.
