Any idea what is going on
Hi,
I know something is happening that I'm not getting-- but what?
I work in R&D and was scheduled to do customer interviews for one development project (Project A)at a trade show. Then another project (Project B) said they needed help. My boss offered one of the other people I work with who was free (R).--
There were several e-mails to project managers and all of a sudden I was assigned to the Project B at the trade show - and R was handling Project A.
Next thing I know the big shots of project A were in my office asking what I'd rather work on A or B. I told them both were important but my boss had to make the call. Then they started to say they did not want R doing the tests for "Data integrity". I tried to explain redundancy and internal consistency in experimental design would prevent this and got no where. Soon they sugguested another co-worker. I told them to talk to my boss.
I then told my boss together with R and the other coworker that he should expect a vist and that none of us knew what was going on.
Tomorrow there is a meeting two levels above me to descide who goes where. In the meantime all three of the people I work with are confused. We are all aspies and have no idea why no one wants R? If we knew we would work together to fix the issues.
You could tell them (the confused coworkers) to hold on until the meeting is over. Sorry if this doesn't satisfy you, because I don't understand parts of your story.
