Who else seems to be talked to in the third person a lot?

That is, when someone is asking how you are, it's not "How are you today?". It's "How's Keeno today?".

I seem to get this several times a day, every day.

Who else is irked by it? About people effectively talking about you, as if not directly to you, when you are there?

No one has ever talked to me like that and I've never seen anyone talk like that. I do think it sounds rather funny though like in the Seinfeld episode, where some guy kept calling himself, Jimmy.

Reply in the third person "Keeno is not amused"...;)

Ask them why they act this way...are they not grown up?

This happens to me a lot. I've started to do it myself because I thought it was just what people did, but the results were not quite right. So I started to think people only do this to someone they think is weird. Wish I had an answer for you, sorry!
