Today I had a fantastic time at a London WrongPlanet meet up with:

I hope I didn't forget anyone .... I'm a bit tired!

It was so great to meet people in person. I learned so much from the group.

I felt a bit emotional when I left because I won't see everyone again for years. :cry: Everyone suffered my kiss and cuddle goodbye!

I thought everyone was fantastic and hope my sons grow up to be fine people like everyone today.

Next time I come to London I'm bringing my sons and think they would have a great time meeting the gang.

Tomorrow I meet Lau.

Tell us how it goes when you meet lau. Does he know you are coming?
I'll be applying for a passport soon, I don't think I can afford to go this year...
maybe next year.

Indeed, 'twas a fantastic day out, and a brilliant time was had by all. It was great to meet Smelena, too.

Also, an all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet is teh awesome

Just arrange a northern meet. Anyone can arrange a meet for their area, it is probably a bit unrealistic for there to be one for everyone in the UK, though an annual UK meet could be good

Yes, lovely to meet you too (even if I did get your nationality wrong - sorry! :-) )

And also to meet the rest of you, both those of you I had met last time & those I hadn't.

Unfortunately I had to miss the meal (sounds lovely!) & the hug....

I haven't been ignoring you since then - this is actually the first time I have been on WP since Saturday (been at home doing my dreaded tax return - ugh!)

Got to go now as I am in all-day meeting.

Shopaholic, I have forgiven you for calling me American! :lol:

My sons were very excited to hear about my meeting with WP members in London.

UbbyUbbyUbby (my 7 year old) has decided that MrSinister/Phil is now his hero because MrSinister attended a comic book convention in Chicago.

UbbyUbbyUbby has decided he is going to host a comic book convention. UbbyUbbyUbby pulled out his 5 comic books and asked me if that was enough to host a convention!

The whole family will visit London in 5 years so we'll meet again then!
