Well,I suppose this goes into this forum.
My psychologist has told me to do some work: I have to observe people in my class and write down, in a documentary fashion, being objective, how do they behave, how do they interact socially, etc. I´d like some tips from you. How do you analyze a set of people?Observing how do they talk?Looking at their facial expressions...well, I´d better forget about that . Would it be better to focus on the groups or on the individuals? That kind of things. Thanks.

when I observe people I look at a group of 5+ and look at who likes to be in the group and who doesn't.

I read a book about body language a year or two ago, and now every time I see a girl, I get the impression she's flirting with whoever she's talking to. So I stopped trying

He is trying to help you blend in with your peers. Don't make it obvious to them that your

doing that. Also see what topics they are interested in, so you could carry a conversation with

them. I think that is the direction your Doctor is going, yet check with him.

I like to observe people, to watch the world go by. I guess that's why I like to do street photography, though I have had run-ins with people (this is still a sore point).

Crimson_King: whereabouts in the Canary Islands are you based? :)

Yes, it´s going that way (althought my social skills are not that bad, she seems to think that if I were a little bit more introvert I would implode or something). And well, I already know people would get a weird feeling if I started taking notes while observing them  .

I enjoy people watching. I also like to observe people and study their behaviours.

Ah, I see. We have connections to Lanzarote. I've never visited Tenerife though. You're a Spanish local, yes?

I have trouble with this 2. But I think people group themselves with those who are almost mirror images. Like same hairstyle, or shoes, or backpacks. They also talk the same code, like I hear "cool guys" seem to drag their words when they talk and say, "saahwheeeet" for "sweet" which seems to mean something positive or good. If you replied, "sweet" to them, they'd know u were an outsider. So, you have to say "saahwheeet" the same way to be one of them. Girls seem 2 do the same thing, like saying a word and changing the octave mid-word.

I do this normally. During lunch, when i have finished, I watch people at other tables and see how they interact. I also do this in study halls and out-of-school in public areas. I have been doing this for a long time, and I find that when I try to apply what I have found, I can seem to be more NT when I really need to. I do not do this very often, mostly only when I am meeting someone new.
