Hi, i'm high functioning. I've been watching interviews with Crispin Glover on youtube in awe of his body language skills and intellectual finesse.

Can anyone recommend the classic intellectual books on body language?

Although i'm high functioning I am terrible and non-consistent at clear body language, like most of us here I am misunderstood every day. The only way I know to get tips is to mimic actors from movies.

I was reading an article (forgot which one) and the following book was mentioned:

http://www.amazon.com/Definitive-Book-B ... 034&sr=1-1

I have yet to read it - don't have money for it, really (it's a want, not a need), but it looks good. However, I am not sure how intelligent of a book it is.

Great tip, thanks - I just put it on hold at our local library. I'll let you know how well it turns out!

brilliant, thanks, i'll look it up

I wonder if there is a book out there with pictures of eye movements (their directions), facial expressions and postures in relation to what they mean - the emotions that fit with the more subtle ones. For example I would like to learn the body language subtleties for contemplation or ones that bide me time in face to face :)
