Pimm's is mostly popular at Wimbledon, garden/flower shows, outdoor classical music, opera, theater venues, etc. In the summer.
Not seen it too often in pubs, but apparently it was invented in an oyster bar in London owned by a Mr Pimm, when oysters where cheap and plentiful. Not sure about the combination of the two, though.
