Depends on the sign language.

ASL has many facial expressions that relay key information. That being said they can be over exaggerated to make it easier.. I'm taking an ASL class atm and will probably get a B or High C. I get the grammar and syntax, but the actual signing can be difficult. Its also a very visual spacial language, so some may have trouble.

That being said, using signs as a supplement to language i think i would find very beneficial.

I don't understand this statement. American Sign Language is full of facial expressions and full body gestures. Are you from a country that uses a sign language that is not as described above?

I was of thinking of the signing the alphabet. I think I am starting to realize this will probably not work out. That and I have visual/spatial difficulties
