I prefer both, but since I've been getting a lot of online friends lately, I've been starting to prefer that because I'm always too shy and nervous around people in real life.

Both as well
I like my online friends, but I need interaction with people, even if it's painful most of the time

It's rare that I have people in real life accept me because I'm not like everyone else. AS is extremely rare where I live. I do have one or two friends around here but I have so many on WP. Despite the fact that I've never met any of them, I consider them to be my real friends. :D

Well, I guess AS is rare in North Carolina, all together.

Maybe in the parts where we live but I don't know about the rest of the state.

It's pretty common where I live *shrugs*
But most of my friends are NT, though definitely not "normal"

yup...there's Rogerdodger, and me...and that's it for the state...;)

I deal with people all day long. I'm always friendly, if a bit reserved. Both kinds work for me...

I prefer real life friends, online friends can be fun to talk to, but RL friends are the ones that are important.

I have both and I don't really prefer one over the other. I have a lot more online friends though.

I actually like both, and don't choose one or the other. However, the thing with online friends is that it is easier to talk them because I can't see them; when I see them, I have difficulties, but I've JUST learned how to keep in contact with them.
