"Creepy" seems to be the most popular single-word description of me. Can't count how many girls in highschool called me that. My best friend half-teases me by calling me creepy or "creeper". Just last week in a chatroom on Myspace, had 2 seperate people in 2 seperate rooms during that night say that I am creepy. I literally hear it everywhere I go!

And the sad part is, I don't know what it is that I'm doing that gives off the creepy vibes to people. Is it my face (chatroom people could see my profile pic), or is it the things I say or how I say them? Nobody has narrowed it down for me outside of "I dunno, you're just... creepy." Meh.

I get this all the time. And I don't even have to do or say anything. One time, I was just sitting around at a party and some girl randomly called me creepy. I asked her why she'd say something so rude and she just shrugged.

It was one of the most upsetting things in my recent life. I'm starting to get real depressed just thinking about this.

Oh, plenty of times. I've even been called a future axe-murderer once when I was a little kid... though to be fair to myself, that was from the mouth of a worthless dead-beat who gambled most of my grandma's money down the crapper.

I've been known to say random things without really thinking - I'm trying to develop the surreal sense of humor I so want. Sometimes when I say something really nonsensical people around me will just say "Whoa." Sometimes they say that if I let on something not intended as humorous, such as suggestions of my true sexual orientation or political ideology :? .

Hygiene is an issue - my hair is longer now and over the course of a day tends to end up all over the place, possibly lending to my creepy image and making me seem less approachable. Plus, sometimes I feel like my deodorant isn't working (especially after gym).

Also, when I feel uncomfortable or depressed I sometimes mumble to myself and rock back and forth. Recently I've decided to acknowledge my creepy appearance and mannerisms upfront, such as by discussing it on social networking sites that I and my school chums visit. I get the impression that people are probably talking about me behind my back, especially considering the things I hear them say about other "creeps" whom I know.

I have done stalker-ish things before. I'd periodically look up my crushes' pages on MySpace or Facebook trying to get up the nerve to contact one of them. I don't know if they realize that, but that's got to count toward my "sketch factor" to some degree.

Also, I've creeped people out on the internet before. Like I once met someone on this site and we started talking for a few days. Then one night we were talking really late and I let my guard down, talking about my depressive moods and self-injurious habits. Then they suggested that we form a "long-distance relationship" to support each other - I was reluctant at first, but before long I was the one with the most emotional investment in it! I think they began to realize just what the hell was going on in the following days, because a day or two later (at a more reasonable hour of the day :P) they suggested we were going too fast and gave the "we can still be friends" routine before I never heard from them again. :P In the months afterward I came to realize what a mistake it was to let my guard down and become too vulnerable and needy (but at least I got to make the mistake with some anon. on the internet before I had the police called on me in real life ).

This post was longer than I intended it to be. 8O

Ha you bet , if im attracted to some girl i'm always in her face asking her stuff ,trying to flirt with her and usually she is either in shock because shes shy or she gets creeped out cause she isn't interested ( i usually don't catch on to the "back off" signs immdiately either so that also is "helpful" ) . But back when i was younger , yeah i was the class creeper definately . You know pretending to be something out of metal gear solid or mission impossible crawling under the desks , yelling at the birds and so on. haha i was such a goofy kid.

Yes, once or twice at University, but not for a long time. It seemed to be ham-fisted attempts at small talk or random outbursts that got me the creepy label - one time I remember a female friend (alright, acquaintence!) was wearing some really different socks, and I said something like "nice socks" which i thought was throwaway, at the worst good for a chuckle. She burst out "Why do you say things like that? you're creepy" Lookibg back, I must have annoyed the hell out of people I knew then with this sort of thing, but I didn't know about aspergers then.

i don't get why people would think a comment like "nice socks" is creepy? i think it's cool when people notice small details... but i guess other people feel like you're studying them too closely or something if you notice the details... i find girls can definitely get away with this so-called creepy behaviour more... just follow a random comment with a smile and people think it's cute :P or if i don't smile then i'm mysterious but sensitive to the world around me, haha!

I've been accused of staring at people a few times, if that counts. Hardly my fault if I'm not paying attention to where my eyes are pointing...

people tell me I am too intense when I talk.....I didn't really understand until I ran into someone else who was intense when they talked. I finally got it when I met her, she was an incredibly sexy, knock-out, female who was so intense that she was intimitating to talk to.....it didn't matter what she was talking about, there was always this intense power that she put forth.

I usually learn by mimicing people around me....in this situation, I learned what not to mimic.
