I've noticed lately I've been more aware of my emotions. So it is easier for me to disguise them. I'm usually always aware of my thoughts more than my emotions. Which I guess is sort of an Aspie thing. Lately, I've been able to do the "poker face" but it is hard when the emotion is too strong.

In grade school my teachers would comment about my lack of smiling and expression. I wasn't depressed or anything like that, but nothing would show through. Even now I don't photograph well because I can't "smile for the picture". It's best to catch me when I don't know I'm being photographed.

I still don't smile. I also don't show proper facial expressions like when I should be happy or sad. I don't smile when people take pictures of me either.

Me too, my teachers were always telling me to cheer up or asking me what was wrong.

For me, I am always getting mixed up with what emotions i have learnt and what i already know, for example, When my grandfather died i cryed but i didnt know wheather i was copying everyone else or wheather i actually felt sad.
