Check out this information sheet for Autscape, a UK autie conference.

They use coloured badges to indicate desired level and mode of contact desired! I would SO slap several red ones on me, and a couple of the black circles. Dang, I wish EVERY conference had these babies.

Where is this being held? I couldn't find the information there ...

That one's in the UK. They linked to the US one held in PA though, and apparently that's where the colored badge system came from. Both are over for this year, but are annual events. Maybe if I start learning about them now, I'd be ready to try one by the time they roll around again ...
