for me it varies. when i met my friends in high school, i was open and happy. with other people i come across as being indifferent. many people think that have a slight hatred toward them since i'm not all smiles with every single person i meet. if i were to meet a wp person from off here then i would probably come across as insensitive and aloof. i definitely have difficulty looking at people when i first meet them. i have a tendency to mutter things to myself nervously because their presence makes my mind speed up and i can't think easily.

It depends on 2 things for me, location and how tired I am. If I'm in a comfortable place that I know well (ie my work zone) and I'm not tired or feeling drawn at all, I'm told I come out as quite strange but friendly. If I have one of my two comforts I tend to come out as... well, still strange be far less approachable. If I have neither, I'm told I come off as scary.

It depends on who, where, and why.
If it's a formal situation and/or someone middle-aged or older, then I'm usually fine. Sometimes I'm very akward, and will get shakey or go into a laughing fit out of anxiety. But that's usually only if I'm tired, caught off guard, or intimidated in some way.

I'm always the same when I first meet people. It just depends on how talkative I'm feeling.

I usually don't talk to anybody unless I absolutely need to until I get used to them. My supervisor at work actually said that I seemed like a whole different person after a few months because I was joking around with my coworkers.

well i'm never the one to start a conversation if i meet a new person, i'm usually trying to
work them out & the expressions they have. i like people who smile on first meeting.
i have to really try hard not to say anything offensive as i usually say things that not
should be said. i find it hard making new friends, and i prefer just sticking to people
who i know!

I usually just talk to them normally. "Hey. Who are you? Oh. Uh... what do you like to do?" etc...

I act withdrawn towards people I don't know; and don't take the initiative to talk anyone new. Sometimes I feel uncertain about their behavior.

The norm for me is lock-jaw. Maybe I'll stare, maybe I won't even look at the person. What surprises me are the exceptions when, maybe if I'm feeling the flow from being with people I know, sometimes, this can transfer into a new situation and I may act quite normal, talking, interacting, commenting on whatever is being said. Then, later if I act weird, it comes as a shock.

If there's a common acquaintance introducing us, I'll talk to them. Otherwise, I usually don't talk unless I have to...

I'm usually quiet around people I don't know.
