Hi Folks
A good friend of mine wants to take a break while I emotionally regulate. I get it -- have some tools in place to get back on track.
Advice though to stem anxiety about losing friendship? There is a fairly good chance that we can rebuild -- but I need to show respect and just chill for a while and work on my stuff. Thanks....

Hmm. Well, why not spend some time pursuing new friendships? You might not have so much anxiety about losing this friendship if you are working to build others. That's not to say that new friendships will replace your old friendship, but having something productive to work towards is always good, and the excitement of a new friendship might help regulate your anxiety over the possibility of losing the old friendship.
