Hey, I was told to go here by my boyfriend, who's an aspie, and I found out this place is really interesting! There's so much I can learn on here about autism and aspergers and I can't really get off of this site! So much infromation!
Anyways, sorry for rambling. My main point for this thread is I'm looking to make a few friends on here around my age who have aspergers so I can talk to them about things- life for them, school, what it's all like. I feel weird asking my boyfriend about it because every time I mention something and we start to talk about it, he always ends up being sorry for a reason that wasn't even remotely close to the topic we were talking about, and relates it to him being an aspie.
I don't get it. I'm never upset at him, and honestly he never does anything to upset me. But I was just wondering if there were a few aspies who I could talk to to let me know what they're going through during the day, so I can be more aware of how to act with him and I can better understand what's hard for him and what's confusing, so I can make it easier.
So... anyone want to help me, if they don't mind?
