Okay this is not easy to explain so I am going to take a deep breath. Today I was on my own at break time in college and I saw these 2 guys who I kinda new from the course I am doing. Anyway to the point I approached them (I did feel kind awkward about going over to talk to them in the first place). At first one of them (who I have known from way back) greeted me in a friendly tone but then him and his other pal started using sarcastic body language and tone of voice when talking to me. One of them looked at me a facial expressing that singnald to me that he felt he was superior to me, basicly it was like he was looking down on me. Whenever I talked to them about relevant subjects like the best pubs in my local down or the Wii machine they started grining at each other and put thier hands around thier mouths like they were about to burst out in laughter. I am sure there was nothing on my face or on my hair that would have drawn attention to myself.

I just need your views on this scenario thats all. I would really appreciate answers to this question

I am semantic pragmantic communication disorder and AS so this does not help either. I would really like some more views to this scenario from people :)

I don't know if they would be "spreading rumours" about you, because college isn't really like that. But either way, I wouldn't approach these guys again. It seems like they were making fun of you.

Although, they probably don't think that you're stupid or anything. From how you describe your body language and topics of conversation, they might see you as an overly serious, kind of "robot" type person. Which is why they found it funny that you would talk about bars and Wii.

Are these two guys more of the "frat boy" type? It's possible that they think you're awkward and geeky, which usually isn't so, so bad. Not that they would invite you to parties, unless it's to see you get wasted.

Seriously, if I was you, just blank them. They aren't friends.

I have been told I do look awkward, not geeky but maybe they thought I was simple or stupid? Actually there was an embarrising vid that my brother took of me without my consent in early 2007 which spread around my old college slightly. But I doubt thats why they were making fun of me. I also felt that I was talking about things which were relevant to what they were saying as well.

When I wen't to sit down with them on the table I did actually sit down in an awkward way since I got my leg a little chammed on the chair but that was only for a few seconds.

To be fair though they did give me quite down to earth replie to my questions but still they did seem to burst out in grinning and looking at each other like they were embarresed.

Yeah, probably not "simple, or stupid". Maybe they thought that your responses or questions were funny? I kind of get laughs sometimes, but it's been a long time since anyone has actually laughed AT me.

But, I wasn't there. Kind of hard for me or anyone to determine if they were laughing with or at you. Or maybe they were laughing with you, but you weren't laughing? Which is kind of an in-between scenario.

I need to mention as well that one of them said "So how are things on the girl front? Or on the guy front". He was questioning my sexualitly with this question. He just said it out of the blue as well. :?

NT replies: next time they are so obviously rude, just ask them, "Are you always this rude with everyone or only with me?" They should feel about 2 inches tall and have some serious self-introspection to do. If they are "real men," instead of kindergartners, that should earn you an apology. as*holes. Complete losers. Sorry they hurt you. I'd love to shred the crap outta them both.

What ptown said would work, if they are mature individuals, but chances are, from there remarks they are not, and then they would laugh at you some more if you got all serious and told them they are being rude.
I think the best thing you could do would be to laugh, or shrug your shoulders, like it deosnt bother you and walk away.
I tend to always have a sense of humor, in my own weird way, so with the remark about your sexuality I probably would have said something like "no, i'm straight, but I know a guy that would be perfect for you", then I would walk away.
