I HATE this.When ever i go into the mall I get really disoriented,stressed,edgy and so inobservent i walked into something the otherday it's so frustrating i want to scream.It's like there is just so much going on I can't seem to focus on anything. I was wondering if this is a common problem or am i just weird?

I get like that if i i'm shopping at a place thats really really busy.

I tend to get my Christmas shopping done early so I can avoid it.

Yes, praise the Almighty for the internet (and the porn sites that pay for the infrastructure). I do as much shopping as possible from the comfort of my keyboard. If I have to go to the mall, its like my Walmart operation. I get there when the doors open, go in, get what I came for, get out before 1100hrs (when the lunch crowd starts rolling in). Also, sunglasses help me alot. And if you're wearing a suit and sunglasses its even more fun. Peopl figure you're CIA or Secret Service or something and they just look at you and clear a path.

Actually, I do most of my shopping in the mall. But my hetetic schedules ensures that I only manage to get there during the periods when the mall is nearly empty. So it's never been a real problem for me.

Luckily, I also don't celebrate christmas and this year have no gifts to purchase.

I hate the crowds.. and I wouldn't worry about walking into stuff, I walked into about 10 people today because the idiots don't look where they're going and expect right of way Normally I'm good with direction unless I go into the city.. then I lose my way around really easily. It eventually gets to a point where I freak out and decide I'm leaving, or finding a quiet spot to sit down.
