I've been having a good time going to a discussion and support group in my area and I was wondering if anyone has ever tried getting together and talking about AS Online. It's so comforting to me, at least, to have a time where I'm able to speak frankly and openly without having to worry about the stresses of keeping up a neurotypical appearance.

But since many of us seem geographically separated, it can be so difficult to arrange these kinds of get-togethers, especially if you live out in the boonies like me. Has anyone had any success with Skype conference calls or anything like that? I'd be curious to try if anyone is interested, or if they have a little group that gets together every so often. :chin:

It could be interesting. I've talked to a couple aspies here on instant messengers, but I don't even know any in real life.
Or it could be a disaster, what if everyone only wanted to talk about whatever interests then at the moment?

If somebody made one, I'd at least check it out.
