i met this guy through rowing, he was on the team as well, and we found out he lived really close to my house (like a 3min walk) sometime after the rowing season ended in the fall. his parents moved here from another province for work, he had already completed first year at his local university but he switched to this one when his parents moved. anyways we have been hanging out a lot and i'd consider him my friend, but on the 23rd he's going back to winnipeg because he's got to live there for 3 months if he wants to row for the provincial team at the canada games, then he's going to go back to his old university since his friends and girlfriend are there. it sucks because he's pretty much the first real friend i've made since i started university (as opposed to just acquaintances) and now he's moving back to winnipeg.
