Oh please, stereotypes aren't based on fear and ignorance, they're practically required to understanding the world imagine if you had to look at every single new fork as though you'd never seen this weird contraption before and discover you can eat with it rather than assume long with four tines, its a fork. Stereotypes are sometimes given more credit than they deserve, but we do need them.
