I often got accused of that when I was younger, but I still hear that from my parents. I think that disposition can aggravate the hardships someone faces, or even be the cause. Do you think that's an aspie thing, or just a "me" thing?

I dunno about being to serious. Perhaps we're just too literal.
For example, I consider myself a pretty lax, pretty chill guy, but sometimes I misinterpret other ppls' jokes, not because I'm too stern, but because I think they're talking in literal sentences.
