Boardoodles: A Poem
I go to the English department during lunchtime at school, where the usual activity constitutes of doodling on the whiteboard with the black marker about certain aspects of conversation. this is a poem inspired by these English lunches.

Boardoodles
The upper left hand corner
Is Jasmine's zone,
Where sketches of her or Naz
Playing the guitar
Are made.
Seniz, Tyler and co
Dominate the top half,
With drawings of bouncy long hair,
Fun, fashion, makeup
- and, of course, chocolate.
The gaggle of pretty girls
Take the right side,
Discussing points like the gay cat,
Lauren criticizing her supposed hairstyle,
And Amy’s "wedgie corner".
The smart group are in the middle,
Terri represented by the happy face,
Isaac by the glasses,
And James as we know him with the afro,
Moustache and talking mole.
I appear sometimes,
With a confused face,
Delivering the punch line of
A joke that no one
Seems to get.
BUT
As soon as the boys arrive,
The memories are scrubbed off
And replaced with crude pictures
Of boys with big endowments
Calling each other w*kers.
