I'm being serious here, and you're all spamming up my thread!
All these very silly posts are embarrassing to me. Stuffed toy-making is a very serious business. I spent many long obsessive hours hand-sewing stuffed animals and puppets as a child. My first one was a bunny that I designed and sewed when I was four (it had a purple dress and I got very mad at my uncle because he did not believe I had made it all by myself). My mom bought me a very good book, and as I see now that it is copyright 1976, I expect that it is out of print-
Adventures in Toy-Making by Gillian Bradshaw-Smith. At any rate, the book starts out very simply with critters made out of a very few simple pieces, and advances through to more elaborate critters such as an octopus. My point is, start by making a couple simple things and learn the techniques before tackling a difficult project. You can buy fur fabric at a fabric and crafts store, or you could use felt also. It can have a bit of a stretch to it but should not have much stretch. Sewing by hand is much easier for small pieces and the fur doesn't get caught in tight sewing-machine stitching. Stuff it with polyester fluff stuffing, which comes in big bags like a pillow.
Don't let anyone spam up your thread because you will need it for the sewing. That was a terrible joke. At any rate, I do hope this helps.
