I never even heard of "Krautrock." I assume this is a German style of music?
Yeah, Krautrock is the term used for German Progressive /Psychedelic Rock bands from the late 60's, early 70's. A lot of these bands drew their influenced from Syd Barrett era Pink Floyd, Mothers Of Invention, and Free Jazz. --It's can be termed as 70's style Prog/Art Rock like VERY early Genesis, Yes, and King Crimson, only stripped of the pretentious and overstated musical wankery and instead stripped down to it's barest components. --Minimalistic Prog Rock if you will.
