Super Mario 64 DS is a great game, so long as you don't use the touch screen to play it (which is strange really).

I personally disagree with this. A key part of Super Mario 64's gameplay was the introduction of the Nintendo 64 control stick, enabling slow movement when needed. The control pad cannot do this, which is why the touch screen plays such an important part in the port. Yes, it does feel very bizare at first, and even now, I still find sideflips to be more difficult, but aside from this, it is entirely advantageous to even the N64 control stick once you get used to it. It feels more like you have direct control over the movement of the character. I certainly found it annoying at first, and couldn't even position myself in front of signs to read them, but I got over these problems.

Note also that while the DS can play Gameboy Advance games, it doesn't support the Gameboy Advance Link cable, and it cannot play regular Gameboy or Gameboy Color games at all. If you need any such functionality, don't sell the GBA! I had a DS and a GBA, and I actually had to buy a second GBA in order to trade pokemon in Ruby and Sapphire (GBA games), because my DS would have no part in it.

I still own my GBA. So does my brother (though unfortunately it's screen is cracked), but I've got Pokémon Pearl and my brother has Diamond so if we want to trade Pokémon we can do so on the DS's

Just got Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and it is BRILL.....I.........ANT! I'm on the 4th dungeon at the moment, (I think). Great to see the Skulltulas in a handheld Zelda game.
