Funny.

Yeah, I still haven't stopped laughing since I read that statement. U2 are the most overated band in the world.

Which is why it's so sad that they're better.

Wait you're not actually saying u2 are better are ya? or hopefully your being sarcastic!

Frankly I've never listened to either one. Both of them seem to have sold out once they became popular.

No thats not the case at all. Even though i'm not a U2 fan some of their recent music is good. Iron Maiden's Number of the beast album is what really made them more popular, and in my opinion and a lot of others they have done better albums since.

Right but all of this is still your opinion. It doesn't mean they aren't doing it for the money and it doesn't mean that the quality has gone down.

When bands become as big as these 2 its no longer about money, its always about the music for Maiden, thats not just my opinion its the truth. I know a lot about the band, they are very down to earth. And U2 do a lot for charity. I'm not sure you really know enough about this to make strong statements.

Oh I'm SURE "it's all about the music", that's why they sued Napsta right? Because they weren't afraid of losing money and instead were completely fine with people discovering them through an alternative source, clearly this is why they instead went for Apple who sell Artists songs for one dollar each none of which the original artist sees? /sarcasm

You mean the pile of dung called "Live Aide" which just ended up funding a corrupt government?

Of course I don't.

I must of missed Iron Maiden at live aid!! The recent live aid was completely hideous anyway, it was more of a publicity stunbt for most of the artists.

I was talking about U2, how could you possibly miss that? You mentioned U2 has done a lot for charity and I mentioned Live Aide, which is a charity event.

Anyway I just realised the mistake I made, you see I've been seeing it as Metallica not Iron Madien, which is weird but that kind of thing happens to me sometimes, and it's gotten me in trouble every now and then. I've got to stop doing this while I'm tired. Anyway if you're such a big fan why didn't you figure that out?

Being sarcastic when? And how am I supposed to tell when you're sarcastic if you're communicating over the internet when there's no tone or other way to easily tell you're sarcastic?

Well yeah, but that's why I said that I was talking about U2. When people are sarcastic usually that means that they're mocking your comments for being inaccurate.

You really should understand that some people will take that as a jab at them.

I know the same thing happens to me too
