Computer policy at work

I did not get the computer policy at the first on my placement.

I got in some small dicipline action, not so big.

Now I am afraid of doing wrong.

How do your computer policy at work working?

If I was instant messaging at work I would use an encryption program.

"SimpLite-MSN prevents eavesdroppers from reading your personal MSN Messenger conversations."

Some network use like weather reports and a bit of news I think an employer sould over look. But using im or other programs not need for working not so much.
