...what is the best credits music in a video game. For me Metroid Zero Mission is my favourite. The music makes you feel like you've accomplished something great.

So which game do you think has the best ending music in the credits.

That I can think of, Crono Cross

I haven't actually finished that many games (yeah, I suck...I die over and over until I get sick of it), but most of the Super Mario, Legend of Zelda and Kirby games have absolutely beautiful music in the end aswell as during game play. The end credits song I get stuck in my head most often is the one from Super Mario World. It has almost the same chord structure as the first level of Super Mario Bros. 2, so I like to play those two songs together on the piano. And most of the end credits songs in the anthology game Kirby Superstar (a.k.a. Kirby's Fun Pak) are magically delicious.

Oh man, some of the best music in a game is found in the credits sequence.

PORTAL - Best ending ever.

The only one that sticks in my mind at all is the Super Mario 64 Ending song. That was a pretty amazing one.

Haven't played Portal yet. At the moment, my favorite is still the ending of Skies of Arcadia. As the music plays, a changing page gives you the fates of all of the other characters you've interacted with through the game (and gives, I think, a potential plot hook for a sequel - at the end, Hans becomes chief engineer of the rebuilt Valuan fleet, and Pinta also winds up working there - with the avowed intention of one day exploring the Moons. Maybe someone lives there - and maybe they're a little resentful of having had their worlds torn apart during the Rains of Destruction, and again when the renegade Valuan admiral tried to take over the world using the power of Zelos...).

I also like the music at the end of Pokémon Ruby. Got stuck in my head for ages.

Serious sam, It has a fake ending and you drop through a trap door halfway through the credit roll. Then the game goes on . . .

Okami has a beautiful Japanese song at the end. Drawn To Life has a beautiful song as well, although it's a bit too lovey-dovey for my taste.

Okami. I think the song was called [/i]Reset[i] or something of that nature. Not sure.

Portal is a given.

Psychic Force 2 - Arcade Mode. The rest of the game makes me feel like crap ("melancholy" is the key word), but this ending is rock-ish.

Metal Gear Solid was great.

Alex Kidd in Miracle World was another. But all the music from that game rocks.

Chrono Cross has a great credits music (I didn't clear the game, my sister did it, she loves that game).

Also, I love the creditsmusic of Mega Man games (classic and X).

I've yet to hear the ending music for FFVI but I'm sure, like the rest of the music that it will be great.

I'm going to have to go with Portal on this one. It's one of the few songs I have immediately decided I must find and own. Other than that, Mass Effect would probably be the best I have heard recently...

This ending is my favorite, because I loved this game so much.
