Custom signature & avatar help!

Warning: I am computer graphically impaired and cannot make my own!

If I tried, I would fail.... in under 5 seconds.

(Paint is not the best graphics editor)


Does anybody know any good websites where you can easily -> moderately easily create your own avatars and signature pics/sloganthings/somethings?!?

I don't want to trouble anyone by asking them to make one, and I just want to make one myself, as well.


NOTHING "R" RATED OR SOMETHING THAT COULD BE CATEGORIZED AS INSULTING

Is the problem that you don't know what to pick for an avatar or you don't know how to turn a regular picture into one and upload it here?

I can do BOTH of those, I just don't know how I can make my own one... like one for a signature one of those rectangle picture boxes that people put stuff like "(account name) will eat you!" with a custom backround.

I need something like an online site, because I have no photochop/etc. equipment to do it.

I've seen custom avatars that have stuff like

"I am (name), and I'm an admin!"

or

"(name)
(pic)
MEOWMIX
MASTA"


Sorry if I NEED pohotoshop or some computer graphics application, I just won't do that, and this topic can be purged.

Sorry. Can't think of anything off-hand that would do the job for free. You might be able to get a trial version of Paint Shop Pro or something though? I'd get you where you want to be.

The GIMP should do the trick... its not particularly easy to use til you get used to the interface though. Still, its free (open source) and powerful.
