If, however, I was mowing the buggers down in a vehicle going down some country roads (cities would be too jam-packed) I'd probably go with Rob Zombie's 'Dragula'.

"Black Star" is lovely, but I think it would just make the zombie siege that much scarier, and I'd want to keep my head on and not get scared, lest it cause the zombies to overcome me....

Whilst playing the Video Game "Dead Rising" The songs that got me the most APMED were insturmental metal songs,

It worked great because the lyricless music had it lyrics written as the game was played! Frank's battle cries the hordes of zombies falling to the might of the bowling-ball I had equiped at the time,

As a side note: The boss fight music in that game (for most bosses) had a metal sound to them too!

Terror keeps the blood pumping and that's what you need for survival. Shoot anything that moves, and if it doesn't seem to be moving you'd better shoot it anyway just to make sure.

Anything by The Shins for general surrealism, and Muse's Absolution for when I needed that adrenaline boost, plus it goes with the whole end of the world thing. It's what I listen to in Dead Rising, don't know if I'd be listening to music if it really happened (I wish) , maybe blaring from a car while I was piling through them though.

I'd listen to something like The Cramps or The Misfits.

The album The Way of the Fist by Five Finger Death Punch. That or "Skull and Bones" by Overkill. Walk with me in Hell, by Lamb of God, or anything off of Pantera's Cowboys from Hell. A lot of Manson would be great, too. And anything by Ministry. Also, Scum of the Earth by Rob Zombie.
