HELL yes, I'm in favor! Ditch the nuke/oil/gas/coal plants! Especially the Nukes and coal plants. We all know that nukes pump out radiation... But how many people know that coal plants do too, and to a worse degree? Just google "radiation coal plants". 8O

Viva Nuclear Power!

At least we can bury the highly compacted nuclear waste instead of spraying carcogens into the atomsphere!

Wind farms are a waste of time, IMHO. Noble effort, but a drop in the bucket.

With standariszation, nuke power will be the wave of the future.

Are you being sarcastic? :( Please tell me you are...

I'll let the following slurry of links speak for themselves...

(I actually recommend the book, "The Warning: Accident at Three Mile Island" and the movie, "The China Syndrome". Very informative.)

How many of you want another Chernobyl? I'm guessing nobody. Who has an idea about how to safely dispose of/destroy nuclear waste permanently, without stuffing it beneath the earth in some geologically unstable part of the planet (Yucca mountain comes to mind)? Even the scientists don't know what they're going to do. I'm about the most well-read person you'll come by who's not a professor on the subject of anything nuclear. Its bad s**t, its bad for people and animals, and bad for the earth in the long run. Read before you start saying such foolish things, people!

I don't even think I have to get into how bad coal/gas/oil plants are. I'm sure you already know.

The only problem with Wind Generators is the amount of land they take up.
If we could have a satalite which reflects sunlight on a 24/7 basis, that would be best.

Ooooh yes, orbiting death ray, anyone?

The problem with orbiting satelites is, that as they focus the power, and send it back to earth (the proposed method is microwave beams) they make VERY effient death rays.

I don't know why everyone is so excited about wind generators. I think there's plenty of wind already....
