I think there's more narcissism around here than you'd think. Would someone who is narcissistic admit to themselves that they are indeed narcissistic? Of course not!

Sounds like something a lot of introverts would do.
Try replacing "grandiose" with "unique". And maybe replace "constant praise and admiration" with "validation".
