Back in the day when I was a clueless teenager and a tad more social, the routine was for my friends & I to go out to the mall, hang out at the coffee house and get wired on coffee since we wern't old enough to aquire alcohol. Right next door to the coffee shop was an art gallery. A really cool and cute girl worked there and I found myself hanging out in there occasionally. One day while flipping through one of the print books I happened upon the photo below.
I was totally enamored with it, and had to have it. It's been hanging in my bedroom for 15 years now.
Back then I couldn't even admit to myself how much I felt so out of place like the peguins do in the picture.
And now finding out about Aspergers, it fits me even more.
Anyway, thats my little story.
It's a cool pic and thought others might relate.... so here it is.
It's titled: Pingouins, Edimbourg 1950. By: Werner Bischof
I did some light searching for it on google and couldn;t find anything.
If anyone wants to get a copy, best bet would for you to see an art dealer that can order prints.
