That reminds me, you posted a link in the 'what are you listening to now' thread awhile back that I never did download (DJ Drifta set). I kept forgetting. It was one of those cases where you never think of it at the right time - in the car, at work, in the shower, eating lunch at Grandma's lol... I just found it (I see it's hip hop, not jungle though) and I'm downloading it now... done. Something to listen to on the way to work. The nice thing is I have a faster internet connection now - still DSL like before but this set took 5 min and stuff this size used to be at least an hour.
Yeah, I'm still listening to that off and on. I think the stuff that impressed me the most was probably the Tribe Called Quest tracks.
As for some DNB sets I was gonna recommend, you still might be able to find it if you do a search at the forums or look under the Tracklisting folder when you get there on
http://www.breakbeat.co.uk is Calyx Live @ Pyrotechnic Radio (you have to split it since it's over 80 minutes but it doesn't matter, the first 40 are what I usually listen to anyway) and I don't know if this one is posted but Grooverider live @ Que Club 1999 was pretty sick (if its not there I might be able to send it your way but I'd still like to see what I could do before it came to megaupload). Other than that I really don't know what would be up your ally, I was talking about that Dinn Warde Drumfunk mix, the best way I can describe that one is it's like the last few tracks of 'THeLawPresents - Darker Side of D&B' but its like that through the whole set alongside just a lot of real mellow but eerie jazz and intelligent d&b - may or may not be your thing but if you wanna try it go to the d&b folder at the top and look under the user mixes, its probably on like the 10th or 11th page.
