I have a piano exam tomorrow afternoon... and I'm very very very nervous about it! :? :? :? :? :? :?

I need hugs!

and wish me lots of luck.

and pray that the sight reading is all rests. :)

... even worse, I seem to be going down with a sore throat... I wish it would either get better, or get bad enough that I am excused from the singing part of the exam!

ARRRGGHHH!!

well it could have gone better.... I got through the first piece OK, but felt really shaky afterward, my hands were shaking so badly that I could hardly play anything at all after that :( i played the second piece so badly the examiner told me to stop and start again  scales were, um, interesting, I think I unintentionally invented some new never-heard-before arpeggios  at least the sight reading was in C, I think the examiner felt sorry for me...

*sigh*... I need even more hugs now!

thanks again :D

the exam wasn't really important... it's just that I always find myself taking exams far too seriously, but then I end up hating exams and hating the subject the exam was in and giving up. so this time I tried to not take it all so seriously, but it meant that I didn't do as well as I could have done. it wasn't as bad as exams have been in the past but it still left me with a bad headache :(

I was just looking at your blog, I like the pictures of the cathedral :) I love the architecture in mainland europe. did you get any pictures of the stained glass windows? photos of stained glass windows can look great if the light is just right.

the weather is not sunny enough these days, I'm waiting for a sunny day to take pictures of the stained-glass windows.
Marc Chagall made some stained-glass windows for the Cathedral of Rheims, in 1974, in replacement of those that had been damaged during one of the WW.
