I can't stand the song, and I hardly relate to it. I like some of their stuff (haven't heard much, btw), but I can't stand this song.

Green Day is one of my favorite bands and alot of people on the spectrum say they can relate to Boulevard of Broken Dreams; the most common reason most likely being an inability to connect with people, and subsequently having little to no support network.

That's what I was getting at.

My road is anything but lonely. I always have me and trust me, I entertain myself.

I like the song and i can see how any aspies can relate to it. They sing about the lonesome and disconnection a person expericences with the rest of the world.

Okay, it's relative, but I don't think it's fair to assign a theme song to a whole group of people, especially in the case of a "spectrm disorder." It can be your theme song, and it can be other people's theme song.

As for me, I'll not complain about being alone; when I get the chance to be alone, I revel in it ^__^

The lonely roads are my favorite to walk, too, because there's so much to see and less interference ^__^

I believe this song is more geared toward teenagers and typical teenage angst. Now, I'm not saying that aspies or anyone else who isn't a typical teen can't relate, but the song is pretty much about frustrated teens (in accordance with the concept of the album). Green Day are good guys. They always have been, they are nothing new. They were spectacular in 1989 and they will remain spectacular throughout their lives.

In my opinion Greenday's earlier stuff was alot better than their latest stuff. Sure I can relate to that song, but it's not as 'individual' as their older stuff.

I like that song and can relate to it but I still prefer Nowhere Kids for the theme song for aspies (part of which is in my siggy.) Either that or Welcome to My Life.

If we're going to mention possible theme songs, then I don't think it's fair to forget Linkin Park's "My December." Or "MY<DSMBR," as the case may be ^__^

I, however, can't even decide on my own theme song, so I hold no authority in this matter ^^
