The second part of grade 2 wasn't too bad. I transferred from a bad teacher to a new school with a better teacher who helped me see what I could do. I became one of the top students in class. Grade 3 was at the same school and it wasn't too bad either. Made good grades, didn't have to deal with too much bullying, and again, was OK.

Grade 6 was at a Catholic school and socially, it wasn't too bad. Some of the kids teased me in the beginning, then got nicer later on. I think it was the fact I was a transfer student and they didn't know what to expect. Academic wise it was OK too, other than the fact I had a not very good English teacher who didn't seem to even care if I was there.

Grade 8 was my one year in public school and it was absolute hell.

There are times I wish I could have been schooled at home with private tutors or something like that. I wouldn't have had to deal with all the nonsense I had to deal with in the outside world.

Year 9 was my worst year as i even managed to isolate myself from my best friends due to my violent actions.

Were you by any chance prescribed drugs by some shrink?

My best year was probably sixth grade.
It was the only year in elementary school I really started to get along with my classmates.

While I've had a lot of good teachers, my sixth grade teacher was amazing.

I was Horatio in a sixth grade version of Hamlet, the projects were fun, and we went on lots of class trips.

I discovered several new series that I liked, and oddly, I have large gaps. I almost wonder whether I'm having selective memory.

Anywhen. Barely recall kindergarten went to Montessori half the day really liked that. Liked walking to school every Friday (When my mother couldn't drive me, as I lived barely inside the two mile zone. Two miles seems a lot worse when you're a little kid. Idiot administrators.)

First grade only recall by candy corn, class hamster, weekly pencil sharpening (talk about an AS obsession) and throwing a tantrum over not liking the slow pace at which class was going. Second grade was good but I was getting used to my new school and there was a mediator who used her position to bully me. Third grade a girl named Dana started bullying me and two of her friends joined in. I also threw a temper tantrum over getting my first word wrong on a spelling test.

Fourth grade was also pretty good I think.

Fifth grade and seventh grade uggh. Some ups, a lot of downs. Eighth grade decent, miserable in math and English a lot. Ninth grade I had some issues but started finally holding myself together. Tenth grade was so-so. Last year i had trouble in Chem and a terrible social studies teacher right after an outstanding one made me realize that Holden Caulfield was right.

This year has been some trouble in AP Enviro, nothing really great.

So yeah, I'd say that sixth grade or maybe kindergarten were my best years. Some lows, but the high points were far higher. Starting with ninth grade I began to even them out, and the average is lower.

My first year at University. The release from 'Teenage Terror' must've been a great relief as I managed to fit in really well socially and got good grades. Unlike my high school years I met a lot of people who could combine education and pleasure in a good (and not give the pleasure the upper hand.). And they're my kinda people.

My best year is...right now! I'm a senior in college, and the past two years especially have been absolutely phenomenal for me, and it keeps getting better, so I'd have to say this past year (this time last year through right now). I have a true social life and great group of friends for the first time in my life, I'm pursuing my interest as a college major, and likely post-graduation career path, and I just feel so much less clueless about life now than ever before.

Best year in K-12 would have to be junior year of high school. A lot of things came together that year. I was motivated. My courseload at school was tweaked, and made life a lot easier at school, while shooting my GPA way up. The bullying and harassment I had in I found some great channels to positively express my interests--joining and actively participating in my state's association for the area of my interest, which ultimately led to me having the first of five years interning in the field. Indeed, the whole collection of things that worked out for me are likely what got me into the University I am in right now, which year after year is the best, and progressively better, years of my life.

Personally, my best year was my sophomore year. The first friends I made freshmen year moved into a suite in a residence hall next door to where mine was. Also, I used the 'Net in my room for the first time (sure cut down on trips to the library and weekends home like I did many times freshman year.)

I am a big fan of South Park, so I was able to turn my friends (and even myself) into South Park characters, and we all got a kick out of it! :D

Academically, freshman year was my best year. I made Dean's List appearances both semesters.

(Whoops :!: I thought you meant college.) High school - sophmore and junior years.

my worst years were & is 7th & 8th grade, i was in total social isolation & lost all my closest friends in the 7th grade & had a depression with slight suicidal feelings for about 4-5 months until summer began. before 7th grade i had at least had 1,2, or 3 friends per school year but the sudden change of having friends to having none led to depression but fortounantly did not interfer with my grades or activities. now in 8th grade i'm still in total social isolation & depression started again 6 weeks ago but without suicidal feelings. i think the best year was in kindergarden; lots of friends,no homework, & no boring activities. sad kinda...
