Judas Priest. Specifically the album "Nostradamus."
It's overly dramatic in parts, sometimes annoying, but I identify with a lot of the lyrics. Bound to happen, as there are 23 songs!
Iron Maiden's "Somewhere In Time" album.
Wasted Years, Sea of Madness, and Stranger in a Strange Land. There is a common thread that runs through these three songs, perhaps alienation? Not sure, however all were written by Adrian, but the commonality is deeper than having the same writer.
Metal Church.
Specifically the entire album "Blessing in Disguise"
Probably the best collection of metal ever assembled in album form. Lyrics, emotion, music, all are a notch above everything else. There is something very "real" about this album, something that many others miss, cannot describe it myself, but I know it's there.
