lets you slow down songs. I could really use it for picking out individual notes in things I'm trying to learn. Can anyone recommend a music player I could download or something?

Right now among other things I'm learning the guitar lead of Stairway to Heaven on flute. It isn't a hard solo(relatively), but it's difficult pick out every little note and fancy detail at full speed.

It's a great program that you use to slow down a song without changing it's pitch.
I have used it for fiddle tunes when trying to learn them on fiddle or mandolin.
It works for guitar as well... you want to learn that solo but it's too fast for you to figure out? This program will make it work for you.. it's really neat and worth the money imho Wink

and theres power tab though i can barely stand using it cus it overrides the midi volume control so its up full so ive gotta put the master volume at 2%

good luck

Windows Media Player allows you to alter the speed, whilst retaining the pitch (although you do get distortion).
