I feel the same way. I hate what perfectionism does to me, but I don't want to be a screw-up and suck at life.

So Astarael, how many times did you check that sentence? I don't think it's reached the level of perfection you require...

You can ignore my poor attempt at humour if you wish...

I didn't check it once, I'm not as bad as others, I tend to avoid checking what I write on here simply because I can't be bothered. If it's something that means alot to me/is getting submitted for marking etc then I will check it many times, a forum isn't something which requires tonnes of checking and perfecting in my opinion (plus I'm usually on this site at night when I get tired).

I sometimes check my posts, but usally I'm not bothered. Sometimes with my spellings I have a difficulty with knowing whether it's incorrect and as far as grammar is concerned I've never really been to great on it.

Though that really is poor education as I was not formally aquainted with the mechanics of grammar until my A-levels.

I am an imperfect perfectionist. Strongly and perhaps idiotically adamant about doing things the way I think is right.

Which is probably always wrong.
