Who Loves Going to Metal Concerts \m/?

This is a forum for those aspie/autistic metalheads who want to relieve themselves of the stress they go through at work, school, or whatever by banging their heads and moshing until they drop to their fav metal bands.

I never figured out what you're supposed to do in a moshpit. Just shove people around until you break a tooth?

I enjoy concerts overall, but when attending punk or metal gigs I try to avoid the moshpit. But I do enjoy concerts , I just dislike moshing.

By the way, very famous Marilyn Manson quote: "I think that moshing is a sign of what Christians would call, ehm, the Apocalypse". (sampled in the "song" Sympathy For The Parents as well)

I like some metal but don't go to the concerts.

Mosh pits are terrifying. Way too many people too close and touching me. Not a fan.

I can't afford many concerts, but I like to go when I can.
I'm getting too old to mosh. Last time I saw Slayer I surfed a too-thin crowd and got dropped on the concrete on my back. Another show of local bands a couple of fools were getting too aggro on the floor (there's always a few who can't keep it reasonable) and I got thrown into the stage and got a mike stand in the kidney. I sat the rest of that show out and walked a little creaky for a couple days.
I get plenty of catharsis out of listening to heavy music at home, so I'm comfortable with going to shows only rarely.

Sometimes, if I like the band. Sometimes even if I like the band, no. Sometimes I can only stand it for so long, and I usually don't like the openers. When I saw Dimmu Borgir live I had to sit through an hour of Behemoth first, and I don't like them, and anyway Dimmu disappointed me because they only played one song each from the two albums by them that I totally LOVE (Death Cult Armageddon and Purtanical Euphoric Misanthropia) and mostly played songs from the albums I'm NOT so into (In Sorte Diaboli and Enthrone Darkness Triumphant). But some metal concerts are cool.

I hate mosh pits though.

Love metal concerts sadly i couldnt get tickets for the slipknot concert here but where at a korn concert in january with korn and flyleaf was awesome. great concert
