Chapter 1

The light soaked the hallway with all of the might of a flood. It never could be brighter, so much so that it was hard to even think of the joy that rushed to me after I learned the Head resigned over the sting op she did last year.
Bah, thank Jesus they invented sunglasses. I threw them on and left. The next day will be the day the next Head (Rod Johns is his name) will step up to the plate. I went outside where even the trees weren't able to stand the harsh torture of the blazing heat. I hopped on my bike, thinking about the next hours until that day. 9/1/08. What to say? What to do? My brain was filled up with so much it was hard as hell to contend and I just crashed. It wasn't all that bad, so I just went and rode on.
When I got home, I told my dad the news. He was also very joyous.
"'Bout time that scumbag child abuser got her butt out of Tarlow and into jail."
"Yeah, pretty much. Anyways, I heard that the new Head's going to be much nicer and caring. That's as much as I know."
"Ok."
I ran up to my room, opened the door and started to go to sleep.
But oops. Left the door ajar. So I closed and locked it.
Good night.

Comments, please.
Thankees!

New chapter.

Chapter 2

Next thing I knew it was 7:00 am and I rushing to school on my bike. The wind was gusting like a hurricane, and my bike was swerving; left, right, left, right. Luckily I was able to survive past the last turn to get to the bike rack; while there I saw that the gusts had tattered the flag.

When I reached the door, I wasn't able to open it; the wind proved too powerful. Jason, a football player, was able to open it though, proving that you don't always need to hate football players.

I walked in, slow as a snail-because I was tired as hell-and shook everyone's hands. When I reached the Head, and asked him about the old crap, he replied with this:
"There won't be any suppression of speech, as there must be a freeflow of ideas coming around the school."

He winked.

Hmmm.
