punishment in school
woah! wait a minute there...did you say that J rarely meets his IEP targets ?
although special ed teachers don't expect students to master a skill on the IEP before each PPT, the student should at least be able to make it somewhere on the map ! I hope that you meant he hasn't mastered IEP goals............if the teacher is being unrealistic as far as goals go ( in your opinion) then you need to speak up and talk about goals that seem more reasonable~ there's no reason to shoot for the moon if you can't even get in the rocket!
Hi Bland
we've got appointment 2 see j's psychiatrist next wk, we want 2 talk about J changeing schools or us home schooling J if we can't get him in a different school.
j has been really hard work the last few wks, his constant lying, refusing 2 work at school, ruining his school clothe's e.t.c has really got us down. At home J has been fine ( really good infact) ( touch wood) but at school his behavior is just getting worse, i dred his report book coming home.
If home schooling means a better life 4 J , so be it.We will do what ever it take's 4 J 2 get an education & be happy.
