Wow! That was a great shot, with a nice bit of suspense at the end. The announcers explained the problems Tiger had to solve. I didn't catch his choice of club, though. Perhaps it was earlier.
As for me, I started taking lessons about 2 years ago and had to stop due to a series of injuries.
When I'm not injured, I try to practice when I can. Golf is the one sport for which I have any aptitude. I actually have some idea of where the ball is going to go after I hit it. I also don't have to worry about the ball moving, or what my teammates are doing with it. It's really a great Aspie sport, if you like to solve problems. If you hit a bad shot, that just presents another problem to solve. You play it alone, even if you're in a group. If you're an extravert, you get to be around people. If you can't talk to them, which also happens to NTs, you can just concentrate on your game.
Since I took up golf, I watch it. I try to learn what I can and like to see and hear how the pros solve the problems they see. I don't like pro-ams when guys like Shaquille O'Neill are playing. I saw him hit a bad tee shot and cuss afterwards. His problem was that he was concentrating on the outcome, rather than the shot itself.
