It changes for me, usually between INTP and INTJ. I am a very strong introvert (usually 100%) and a very strong Thinking personality (also usually 100%), but the other two sometimes shift a little.

ISTJ, nothing new. Seems to describe me well, which I find strange for such a simple test.

I did that test and got "INTP". A friend got "ISTP", so he went to the library to check more on the subject... long story short, the book sugested to him the following careers (try not to laugh):

- Hunter
- Lumberjacker
- Underwater scientific (yeah, likes Jaques Costeau)

hehe, I only remember these, but the ISTP profile had a bunch of crazy careers :P
- The only serious one was "commercial artist"

he is a very thin person, can't imagine him as a lumberjacker

Hunter, hehe :P

I've taken several of these "tests" and they almost always put me as a ISTJ.
This seems to be fairly accurate for what it's worth. These test reveal only tendencies that you may follow I do follow alot of the ISTJ tendencies but not all.

To this date I've defined myself as ISTJ. But according to this test, I'm INTJ.

That's because I've never fully understood the difference between sensing and intuitive. I see intuition as something almost psychic - "...without the use of rational processes". That doesn't describe me. If my "rational process" is interrupted for some reason, I freeze. But apparently I should have read the descriptions.

Quote: "Although as Ts they do not always have the kind of natural empathy that many Fs do, the Intuitive function can often act as a good substitute by synthesizing the probable meanings behind such things as tone of voice, turn of phrase, and facial expression."

That I get. But this: "Indiscretions of indulgence are likely an expression of the unconscious vengeance of the inferior." Huh?

In the year 1995 my employer arranged a test in connection with an organization course (the test was not obligatory). I got INTP. Six years later, in the year 2001 I participated in a course of organization psychology in the university, and we made the same test. I got INTJ. The description of the personality in the both of them was quite near to my own opinion of myself.
