Musician Frustrations
I made an eloquent new musical arrangement last evening, it was superb. During recording right in the middle, my parents opened the garage door and the recording captured that background noise. I was so mad, but not hostile like. I called downstairs, it was near midnight, and the chances of it happening at that time of night are rare for a two minute recording.
I said, why did you have to open it! Perhaps if they notice the flute sound in the future they will be hesitant to make such intrusive noises, grrr!
I am still fairly upset, it was superb, likely one of the best thus far. So I deleted it, then tried again for a half an hour with many recording attempts.
Oh well, will try again today!
Anyone else here play music and find that one really has to be in a certain hyper-focused mood to do well? Such as being one with the music, well entirely focused on the creation and flow of it.
