I like dragonlance and have a few, but do find that they are very simple and a bit bog standerd fantasy. I like them most of all because they are so obviously gamer books, written by people who play D&D and I can relate to that.
By the way Raistlin is by far my favourite charector.

I love dragonalnce books. They are a great way to escape. The writing is a little basic, but sometimes that just makes them more enjoyable. Just finished Dragons of the Dwarven Depths, and it was great.

Raistlin's my favorite too. Probably because he's the most like an Aspie. He has an obsession with magic, he was laughed at and tortured as a kid, he's not physically strong, and he creeps people out. Tasslehoff is my second favorite, since he's alittle guy with a few big moments, plus he represents the "annoying as hell" aspect of AS.

I loved Tasslehoff. He's probably the reson for my fascination with knives.

It seems their are a lot of parallels between these writings and religion. Knights of solomnia "solomen", "Dragon lance", "Raistlin and Caramon" It has been a long while since I have read the series so my memory would need to be refreshed. I can say that it is one of my favorites thoough.
